I am a nationally respected Newborn Care Specialist, Postpartum Doula, Lactation Educator, and Placement Director with over 28 years of professional experience dedicated exclusively to supporting children, newborns, and families. I was born in Methuen, Massachusetts and raised on a farm in New Hampshire, where I learned the value of a strong work ethic early in life by watching my parents work tirelessly on the farm and my father build his career as a semi-truck driver. Those early lessons in responsibility, consistency, and dedication continue to shape how I show up for families today.
My exposure to infant feeding and maternal support began very early—my mother hosted La Leche League meetings in our home when I was a baby and toddler, planting the first seeds of what would become a lifelong passion for newborn and family care.
Children have always been at the foundation of my career. I began working with children in 1996 in a preschool environment, but quickly realized my passion was rooted in one-on-one, personalized care. That realization led me to transition into professional nanny work, where I was able to build deeper, more meaningful relationships with children and families. While working as a nanny, I earned my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, further strengthening my ability to support families in a thoughtful, individualized way.
My dedication to excellence has driven me to pursue extensive education and professional training throughout my career. I am trained as a Postpartum Doula through both CAPPA and the Perinatal Professionals Association, and certified by the Perinatal Professionals Association. I am also a CACHE Certified Newborn Care Specialist and Lactation Educator. In 2011, I began specializing exclusively in newborn and postpartum care. My experience includes supporting families with high-order multiples, including twins, triplets, and quintuplets, as well as premature infants, reflux, and special-needs newborns.
Early in my career, I had the rare opportunity to volunteer in support of a family with quintuplets in Ohio—a once-in-a-lifetime experience I will never forget and one that deeply shaped my approach to complex newborn care.
In 2014–2015, I founded what has become the largest and longest-running nationwide overnight newborn care specialist and postpartum doula support group, now serving over 3,000 members across the United States and internationally. This community has grown into a trusted space for mentorship, connection, and professional support, and I remain deeply committed to uplifting and strengthening the newborn care and postpartum field.
I support families throughout the United States and internationally and maintain a home in Phoenix, Arizona, while also spending time in New Hampshire with my parents when my schedule allows. My experience includes living in and traveling with families to destinations such as Greenwich, Connecticut; Corona del Mar, California; Deer Valley, Utah; Napa Valley, California; as well as Ohio, Hawaii, New Mexico, Florida, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda.
I have extensive experience working with high-profile and high-net-worth families and understand the expectations of private clients. I am comfortable signing NDAs, have worked within fully staffed homes and across multiple residences, and am accustomed to flying privately. I pride myself on being easy to work with, discreet, and flexible—adapting seamlessly to each family’s preferences and lifestyle. I am fully background-checked and passport-ready, providing families with consistent, trusted newborn care wherever they may be
Over the course of 28 years working within private homes, I have organically expanded into placements when I am personally unavailable. My extensive experience in home settings has uniquely positioned me to understand both sides of the relationship—the needs and expectations of families, as well as the strengths and professionalism required of care providers. I currently serve as the Placement Director of The Newborn Care Solutions Agency, where I thoughtfully match families with exceptional Newborn Care Specialists and Postpartum Doulas nationwide. I view this work as a natural progression of my life’s calling—supporting parents, uplifting care providers, and honoring the once-in-a-lifetime experience of welcoming a child. My knowledge, empathy, and leadership guide every placement, ensuring alignment, trust, and the highest standard of care.
Whether I am supporting families directly or through carefully considered placements, I bring the same level of attentive, informed, and compassionate care to every relationship. I believe deeply in empowering parents through patient communication, education, and encouragement—creating a calm, supportive environment where families can feel confident and successful.
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy lifting weights, walking, spending time at Hotworx studios, cooking, traveling, laughing with friends, and attending live music. I remain deeply committed to continued learning and professional growth, guided by an unwavering passion for children, families, and the caregivers who support them.
